What are the steps in accurate Measurements Solution?

As an Apparel Retailing Strategist, I am here sharing you effective solutions

Accurate Measurements:

Retail stores can ensure that accurate measurements are taken of the customer's body. This can be achieved by having trained staff use a measuring tape to take measurements at key points, such as the bust, waist, and hips.

Know How to Check Women's Apparels Garments Measurement

a. First, the Chest.

Measure the dress from armpit to armpit on one side. Double this number.

This is Chest Size In the diagram above, the 'Armpit to Armpit' length is 19 inches. Therefore, this garment's chest size is 19 X 2 = 38 inches.

b. Then, Waist & Hips.

Repeat Step 1 for waist & hips. The waist is usually one inch above the navel.

The hip is the widest part of the kurti below the waist.

In the diagram above, the Waist will measure 17 x 2 = 34 inches and the Hips will measure 20 x 2 = 40 inches. You're done!

c. Final Suggestions.

1. If the size falls between sizes always go for the larger size

Size Charts:

Size charts can be provided by the store to help customers choose the correct size. These size charts can be based on standard measurements and can be made available online or in-store.

Fitting Rooms:

Fitting rooms can provide customers with the opportunity to try on garments before making a purchase. This can help to ensure a proper fit and reduce the likelihood of returns or exchanges.

Alterations:

Retail stores can offer alterations services to customers to help them achieve a better fit. This can include taking in or letting out seams, shortening or lengthening sleeves, and adjusting hemlines.

Personal Styling:

Stores can offer personal styling services to customers to help them choose garments that fit well and suit their body type. This can include recommendations on styles and fabrics that will flatter the customer's body shape.

Online Tools:

Retail stores can also offer online tools, such as virtual fitting rooms, that allow customers to try on garments virtually before making a purchase. These tools can use augmented reality technology to create a 3D image of the customer and simulate how the garment will fit.

By implementing these solutions, retail stores can ensure that customers are more likely to receive garments that fit properly, leading to increased customer satisfaction and loyalty.
